Everybody needs OSRS gold. With it, you can buy good equipment from the Grand Exchange, travel to faraway places, and even pay for various NPC services. It’s a necessary item to hoard and gather, especially since buying OSRS gold is an offense that can potentially get you banned.
How are you going to farm it easily? Well, this guide will tell you. Here are four OSRS bosses you can kill even with low leveled equipment and almost no cost to prepare for.
Dagonnoth Rex
Deep in Waterbirth Island, the Dagonnoth Kings roam freely. There are three of them, but we only need one, Dagonnoth Rex. He drops the Berserker Ring and Warrior Ring, both valuable rings but the Berserker one is with more. At the time of writing, it costs about 2.6M OSRS gold. With a 1/128 chance of getting it, you’re sure to have a handful of them after a few hours, if you’re lucky.
Otherwise, you can get gems, various ores, and even Elite Clue Scrolls and grimy herbs. You can earn more than 3M OSRS gold selling all these valuable objects you get while killing this Old School Runescape boss.
You can safespot him in the eastern end of the island where the kings are on. Dagonnoth Rex is a Melee combat user, so use ranged combat. We recommend using Magic, as Rex has 0 Magic Defence. That means even without bonuses, Magic hits him hard. You still need about 70 Combat to have good efficiency in killing him.
With a set of Guthan’s Barrows Armor, you can use the nearby mooks to heal yourself as you wait for Rex to spawn. This method lets you stay on the island without having to restock potions or other restorative items. Doing this while on a Slayer task is an efficient way to level the skill as well.
Vet’ion
Since Vet’ion is a Wilderness boss, please refrain from bringing along valuable equipment when trying to farm him.
Your main reason for defeating him is the Ring of the Gods. Currently, the GE marks its price at a whopping 19M. Sure, it has a 1/512 drop, but the other loot of note are Dragon Pickaxes, several runes, and noted skilling materials. Even if you don’t get the ring, you can earn a tidy sum with the other loot.
You can use Crushing attacks on Vet’ion with great results. We recommend a Combat level of 70 and at least 43 Prayer for Protection from Melee. Several safe spotting techniques and strategies exist for him, so pick the one you’re most comfortable with.
The general flow of the battle as soon as you’ve safe spotted him is to attack, get out of range for a while then repeat. At certain points in the battle, he summons hellhounds you should kill before going back to attacking him. Once defeated, he transforms and you have to do it all over again. Patience is important for this fight.
Barrows Brothers
This minigame is a treasure trove of wondrous loot. From the Barrows Armor sets to various runes, you can earn OSRS gold quickly if you run it multiple times. A strategy of doing the whole minigame with only Black Salamanders exists. The salamanders are cheap enough that it won’t make a dent in your saving much.
You’ll absolutely need Prayer Potions no matter what strategy you employ in this minigame. Also, consider doing the Morytania Challenge Diaries, as it can increase the number of runes you can get from the chest. That will give you easy access to the Barrows as well. Lastly, you might want to defeat some of the creatures lurking about the caves. That increases your reward potential for even more valuable stuff you can sell.
Zulrah
Zulrah drops its scales every time you defeat it. Scales drop in batches of at least a hundred. Each one is about 145 gold so you get at least 14.5k every time. The stacks can get up to 299, making this a variable source of income. The real valuable loot you get from Zulrah is from the unique pool of its loot. Any item from that pool can reward you with millions of gold just by itself. If you hit this drop table, you’re guaranteed 2 of them.
Other notable loot includes equipment, herbs, runes, and other resources. With the right equipment and strategies, fighting it is very easy and you can earn millions of gold per hour. Since it’s immune to Melee, bring along Magic or Ranged weapons. The Twisted Bow is the best weapon you can use for this fight, but the Toxic Blowpipe and the Tridents of the Swamp or Sea will do as well. Some Barrows Armor Sets are recommended over the Void Mage set.
You’d have to do the quest ‘Regicide’ until you can access the OSRS boss to do so.
